The Music Therapy Impact Fund
The Music Therapy Impact Fund is a grant program with The North Valley Community Foundation. The MTIF implements music therapy programs and provides individual music therapy services in Butte County. There are currently two ongoing music therapy programs funded by the MTIF:
- Hospice Music Therapy
- The North State Therapy Choir
- Individual Scholarships
We Rely on Grants, Donations, and Special Events
With the support of donors, grants, and community partners, the Music Therapy Impact Fund brings life-changing music therapy to those who need it most.
Support the General Fund
Your gift to the General Music Therapy Fund allows us to bring music’s healing power wherever it’s needed most. Donations help support current and developing programs, individual scholarships, and essential administrative costs—allowing the Fund to respond to the greatest needs in our community.
Support a Specific Program
Choose a cause close to your heart. Donate directly to supporting the Hospice Program or the North State Therapy/Harmonica Choirs for adults with Parkinson’s disease. Simply type “Hospice” or “NSTC” in the additional notes text box on the donation page. If sending a check, please write “Hospice” or “NSTC” on the memo line. This will ensure your donation goes to the desired program.
